Yep Joe,
"FUBAR" really is a military term....
A few years ago... while on a training exercise in the Jungles of Panama I
was asked to provide a SITREP (SITuation REPort) My reply of "I Spell: Foxtrot,
Uniform, Bravo, Alpha, Romeo" caused more than a little laughter. The radio
operator asked for a confirmation then said "Roger, Confirm FUBAR, Out"
Art "I ain't gonna say what it stands for!" hehehe" Bahrs

Seriously... it could be the drive and head alignment - or the tape
is physically bad, in which case, I think the term to apply to the
tape is FUBAR (a military term, really!) and pray you have another...
Joe
