Pardon me for not seeing your original post, but perhaps this will help.
The
DTSLINK name is used for the built in LAN (i.e. LANIC) Interface Card that

is mounted in your machine. I don't have your system spec's here at home,

but 4.3 sounds very probable. The same card is used for simultaneous
communications with the DTC's (hence the name DTSLINK instead of the
more common syslink) and with any LAN communications you wish to do.

If you're trying to setup your 3000 for LAN communications, assuming
you're
just doing plain-vanilla TCP/IP protocols, when you go through the Guided
Config dialog in the NS portion of NMMGR, specify DTSLINK as the logical
card name for the same address listed in your DTS configurations. If it
shows
4.3, use that. SYSMAP in SYSDIAG should be keying off the same info,
plus you can also confirm the address of the LANIC via SYSGEN's IO section

by doing an lpath.

Hang in there! It looks like you were on the right path. Trick is to use
the
*same name* and *same address* as is already configured for your DTS
setup.

Best wishes!
