Okay, thanks to lots of people on this list (Joe Geiser and Denys
Beauchemin are two that come to mind), and the HPRC, I now have
networking up and running on my HP3000 and can connect my WIN95
PC running Reflection to the HP3000 via a network connection. Yea!
Now, for the next problem: Type-ahead. I used to have the Type-ahead
box checked in the Keyboard tab of Terminal Setup in Reflection.
This would not work with a network connection. So, I know there
is an HP variable call TYPEAHEAD, which is currently set to FALSE
on my system. How do I change the value to TRUE (which is what I
assume I want to do to enable type-ahead, right?)? I really miss
being able to type five commands ahead and screw things up royally!
:-)
But, after using 9600 and 19.2 serial connections, wow is this network
connection Fast!
