[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 17 Jun 1997 09:29:42 -0600531_us-ascii I have setup in SYSGEN a new printer device (LDEV=201), with a device
name of LJ80 (DEVNAME=LJ80). This is a network printer connected via a
jet direct card. I can send output to dev=201 without any problems, but
when I try to send to dev=LJ80, I get a message "Unknown device class.
(CIERR344)".

I know that it must be easy to set up the devices to have
interchangeable logical and physical device names. So simple that I
can't find it on the documentation CD. What have I missed. [...]40_17Jun199709:29:[log in to unmask]

hmmm - those 'HP3000' tires...If you attached those to your favorite
MPE computer system, would that make a portable HP 3000 computer
     system?? :)

Hawaii - does anyone know of any HP 3000 computer jobs out there?
A first shift operator here is moving out there (has lived there
before), and would like to find an operator job, if possible.
I'm not looking, really. (But it does sound soooo tempting).
