Au contraire, I believe the request to be quite legitimate.  After all IBM
uses HP 3000s and other HP products, perhaps not in their own shops, but
they do support and are an outsourcing company for many customers.

I believe this one is indeed an outsourced site.

Roger,

Why would an HP3000 support group want to send HP horror stories to an
IBM shop? At least you look like an IBM shop from your signature lines.
It looks like you want information to hold against HP3000s.

Has anybody got any horror stories about upgrading an HP3000 to release
5.5?
