G'Day Jeanette and Ken!
I've given it a go - Telnet's slower than using a commercial termulator
with NSVT. Also, there are some problems with VPLUS and Telnet, but there
is a patch for that available.
My opinion? Until it's performance improves, I wouldn't recommend it
unless there is a 700 workstation or XTerminal which needs access...
Lastly, using telnet without a firewall in place, if the 3000 has access
to the internet, is asking for trouble --- but we all know that, right?
Cheers!
Joe
