<<On Tuesday I arrived one hour later to the institute as usual because I
mailed some official letters. I found on my way post offices opening only
at 8 a. m. I arrived to a "catastrophe state". The users got message
"CIER 975: unknown command". The women fell in panic. The reason was
simple: I made a mistake in the SETCATALOG ..., ACCOUNT command on Friday
afternoon, and the account level UDC-s were not in the catalog.

We have thousand of pages of manuals. I found the CIER messages in
CATALOG.PUB.SYS without explanation. Do you know a place, in which
PRINTED manual, book or website where the CIER messages for MPE/V are
explained for panicky users [ ;-) in Pidgin English] ?>>

Does MPE/V have an error messages manual? For MPE/iX they're in the
"MPE/iX Error Messages Manual", in this case Volume 1 (of 3). Section 2
is the "Command Interpreter" messages-to the tune of 473 pages worth.
