Basically there are three options:
1) be on 5.5 (or maybe 5.0 with patches, 5.0 is enough for outbound Telnet)
2) buy a Telnet Access Card (to put in a DTC)
hmm... that's two, I guess others can say more on this. I remember a thread
on how to telnet into a 3k with none of the above, no details though.
There is an FAQ at www.3k.com that I know describes ways to telnet.
