I've used both. Superdex is/was better. Why disc decided to add a
gazillion different modes and an assortment of DBIxxx calls escapes me,
later versions have adopted the superdex approach, where you aren't
required to use DBIxxx calls. I should also mention that I haven't used
Superdex in several years, when I did use it, it was simple enough for
your average garden variety programmer to develope in, while Omnidex
couldn't even return the chain length of a dbfind. Why does Omnidex
seem the be tpi tool of choice? Same reason people buy AS400's, they
just don't know any better.
