    Ok,  I can't remember exactly what the original question was for this
survey...

    but I can say that we use only COBOL and the HP compiler for it.  We have
two copies of the SRN IRIS package running on a 957 and this is written almost
entirely in COBOL.

MPEX from VESoft can give you a line count for Qedit files.
  %listf @.source,qedit

Unfortunately it doesn't total this field,  perhaps someone knows how to
customize the command to do this ...?
