Hi, I got this FTP error when I tried to get a file:

550 Specifying the LONG MAPPED OPTION (item# 21) for this file type is
invalid. (FILE OPEN ERROR -299)

Does anybody know what this means?

I'm trying to 'get' a file from an HP-3000 via FTP.  When I do a 'dir',
it says this file has the type VAM-- I don't know if this means anything--
but when I try to get it, I get the above error message.  I can get
other files fine, but their types are FA or FB.

Could someone tell me what would cause this error message to appear?
