Actually, though probably better than my original suggestion, this
brute-force approach is still not ideal.
Clearly the existing "default" permissions are inadequate.
What's really needed is for the very experienced and knowlegable people at
CSY (are you listening Mike Paivinen and Jeff Vance?) to incorporate the
"proper" default permissions for ALL of the various posix directories and
files. Jeff Kell's suggestion above does not address all such directories -
and even those mentioned may not be the absolute best default permissions.
Surely some careful and lengthy thought needs to be given to this area - as
was surely the case when determining default access attributes of the
various MPE groups and accounts.
