tin is my favorite newsreader of all the ones I've used (including
GUI stuff like Netscape), so I think it would be a good addition
to MPE.

How many people would be likely to actually want to run a news
server on their 3000? News admin is a real nightmare, and the
trend seems to be going more and more towards reading news on
somebody *else's* system rather than your own, at least when
"news" means Usenet.

There might be some uses for a 3000 news server for "intranet"
type message systems though, so a trivial-to-install port of
one of the news server packages might see some use.
