RE>MPE/ix 5.5 Network Spooler 5/3/97
Steve,
Yes - we have the LPQ1200 configured here on our 3K/969. It is working well
for us so far.
We are using it as our main system printer having replaced our 2563.
I am not sure what is the best configuration setup for this printer though in
the NPCONFIG file. We have it setup with a minimal amount of info right now -
only specifying a setup file to use when printing..
If anyone else does have this printer configured on their system then we'd
appreciate any additional parameters that would be suggested for this printer.
HP's documentation on how to configure different printers seems to need major
improvement unless there is something that I am not aware of.

Has anyone been successful at configuring a LPQ1200, dot matrix
printer, to the 5.5 network spooler. It is not one of the listed
supported printers, although it does support PCL 2, tcp/ip and the
jetdirect card.
Pros and Cons?
thanks,
steve
