I know I was one of those who visited the web site.  I'm also one of
those that has asked for (and hoped for) a small iX box (single user or
two user or three user) on which to develop software, test software, demo
software, etc.

Years ago there was a fellow who was able to run MPE program files on a
PC.  It wasn't an HP 3000, and it lacked a lot of the HP 3000's
functionality, but it sure was neat.  Rumor had it that copyright
problems shut him down.
