     Frank,

We are using HP's ONLINE backup for our Daily PartBacks. The systems
using ONLINE partbacks are all on C.50.04 and have multiple Volume
sets configured. I am able to accomplish this with one jobstream.
My ONLINE partback is separated into two separate STORE's. The first
Store captures my "Most critical data" using the "ONLINE" option. This
takes approx: 5-10 minutes of user 'downtime'. The users can then log
back on while the second (NON-ONLINE) Store captures the "Other
non-critical data" from all of the volume sets on the system".

     Example:

     1st STORE-

     !STORE ^ONLNPART;*PARTBACK;DIRECTORY; &
     !COMPRESS;SHOW;PROGRESS=5;ONLINE;MAXTAPEBUF; &
     !ONVS=PROD_DATA,OTHER_SOFTWARE,MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET

     2nd STORE-

     !STORE ^BUPART;*PARTBACK;DIRECTORY;SHOW; &
     !COMPRESS;MAXTAPEBUF;PROGRESS=5; &
     !ONVS=PROD_DATA,OTHER_SOFTWARE,MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET

Hope this helps, it works great for me.

Subject: Storing Filesets

Hello all:

I have a question on how to store files from multiple volume sets using
HP's
On-Line
Turbostore. After looking up info on LaserROM, I noticed that in one example
there were multiple
volume sets defined.

I would like to store the following using one jobstream:

@[log in to unmask],@[log in to unmask]@[log in to unmask]@[log in to unmask]@[log in to unmask];onvs=mpexl_system_volume_set,p
roddb;inter

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

Mike Kapsak
