We have three HP3000: two 947LX for the users (dispatched in a dozen of
location) and a 927LX for the programers. Most of our 150 users have
terminals (from 2392A to 700/96). A very few of them (20 maybe) have PC
with Reflection over a serial link.

We love MPE/iX 5.0. We love Image. We love Cobol. Yes, really, we do.

But not V+ !!!
The limitations (80 columns, 128 fields per form, etc) are becoming a very
big problem !!

Of course, I got a lot of ads about 'client-server' and GUI.

But this is not at all what we need. We can't afford to change all our
terminals and rebuild our communication link (9600 baud with mux or 64K
when a DTC is at the users' location).

Does someone know an alternative to this dummy thing ???
