Notes:
1. AT&M0 disables all error correction. Not a good idea. Use &M4,
which is the default after an AT&F.
2. AT&K0 disables all data compression. Ditto. Use &K1, also the
default after AT&F.
3. ATQ2 makes the modem quiet during auto-answer - there's no
point in having RING, RING, CONNECT hit the DTC, very possibly
confusing it and aborting the answer sequence.
4. ATS0=1 sets the auto-answer ring count, not AT&S0=1. (AT&S0
forces DSR high)
5. AT&W saves the config.
Other than #3 (and maybe #4), none of this should have anything to do
with the modem's ability to connect, BTW.
I'd add ATS13.0=1 before saving the config. This will let the modem
auto-reset after each session.
