The best definition I heard to the term "Legacy Applications" came from
InformationWeek a couple of weeks ago (and I used it in a presentation at
BWRUG to some nice laughter)...

"A Legacy Application is one that has been in production for more than 24
hours, and can't be pulled back"

There's a bit of truth to it, though
