I'm sure this is a real basic question, but here goes.

Here's the situation. I'm on MPE iX 5.0. My DTC has temporarily lost
communication with my HP3K and it has since been restored. I have a
printer (ldev) which had/has an active print job. Since my communications
have been restored and all printers except this active one have been
restored, how can I restore this printer to again begin accepting print
jobs?

1) The printer has been turned off/on and is connected also to a Novell
Network and accepts jobs ok from the network.

2) I don't want to redirect the jobs waiting in line in the queue to
another printer, because well you know how users feel about having to walk
an extra step for their printouts.

3) I've done all options I know of with the SPOOLER & SPOOLF commands to no
avail.
The print job still shows active and won't clear, delete, defer, etc..

4) I don't want to bring the HP down and up again.

5) I'm offsite 3000 miles away from my company!

Any suggestions or is there something I don't know about?

Thanks in advance!
