Thanks this worked!  I did use this on another day to reset the DTC through
TERMDSM.  I combined the RESET LDEV nnn without a <CR> after the reset.
Funny how the right syntax allows for proper XEQ of the commands!

Did you try:

          :SYSDIAG
          SYSDIAG> TERMDSM
          TERMDSM> RESET
          LDEV nnn

After which you will likely need to again :STARTSPOOL nnn to get the
printer going again.

If the DTC is managed via Openview DTC Manager, you can reset via the DTC
Manager console.
