In our environment, it happens under special circumstances that the GB
files of a database remain after a crash.
If there is a GB file (and no accessor),
RUN DBDRIVER.PUB,OOPS (sic!) will help:
sys:run dbdriver.pub,oops
DBDRIVER C.05.00 WED, FEB 26, 1997, 12:27 PM (C) HEWLETT-PACKARD 1978
Purge DBS (N/Y)? n
Purge a DBG (N/Y)? Y
..... <i'm currently not able to produce the "right" output, sorry ;-)
END OF PROGRAM
Hope that will help, Andreas Schmidt, DuPont de Nemours Germany
-------
After bringing the system up from a 'SYSTEM FAILURE' (cause
unknown at this stage - no dump done) the following message is
returned when accessing any IMAGE database :-
TURBOIMAGE ERROR AT ???????; RETURN STATUS = -226
DBOPEN , MODE1, ON DFSCON
Error occurred when the 00 file was created
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This error occurs on ALL databases including third party databases !
Any help to solve this problem will be appreciated.
Regards
Brad Straiton
