Such a creature does exist and has been around at least 4 years. Contact
Output Technology regarding their LaserMatrix printer. My last phone
number for them is 509-536-0468.

I've demo-ed their product and it's quite nice. Budget constraints have
been the only reason I haven't purchased their laser printer.
