I've used the Microsoft one most of the time, with no problems.
(Both for dial up networking, and direct-connect networking.)

We bought & installed the WRQ Network software ... and then got rid of it.
We never did figure out how to handle multiple dialup
configuations with it (which is easy in Win95/WinNT). Also, we kept
running into annoying problems/glitches. Hard to recall them all now,
but I remember it forgetting dial-up networking parameters sporadically.

OTOH, WRQ's software displayed a more useful progress window during
a dialup network connection.

One of the reasons we bought it was that they touted it as having a
network trace/analyzer function. It does...but the output is
encrypted, and has to be sent to WRQ for analysis.

The accompanying software worked (web server, FTP server), but
we had no need of it.
