What we do is create a file in your editor-du-jour like Editor/3000
(yes some of us still use it occasionally) with the device and user
and keep it unnumbered and we call it ASOCFILE.

LP=OPLP.SYS
LP=JOE.FINANCE

Then do a file equation:

FILE INPUT=ASOCFILE
RUN ASOCTBL5.PUB

Thats it, devices are now asociated.
