In order to validate the users input to insure that the device that was entered is a valid spooled device (or at least currently spooled), I have used FFILEINFO item 38 and 78 as follows: [...]39_12Feb199700:44: [log in to unmask] |

Terry,
What is the group and account security where the UDC files reside? I
assume that, because they're in the SYS account that (R,L,X:any;W,A:AC)
is in effect for the account, but the group security must be correct,
as well. Our system-wide UDC's reside in a group with Read, Lock:ANY.
