Rudy,
The HP3000/957 is a single processor cpu.  So far I have not heard the
operators say that there has ever been a problem with a restore.  I can not
definitely confirm that both tape drives are being written to concurrently
as the backup takes place standalone and unattended.  However when I have
done some testing, it appears to write concurrently.
