I've mentioned to a couple individuals that we (3k Associates) would be
happy to host any public domain software - including porting works in
progress - on our anonymous ftp server ftp.3k.com. We'll set up logins for
individuals working on projects so they can post their efforts on our
server where it's available to the entire 'net community. All works are also
accessible via web browsers, and for significant projects (like Samba!)
we'll happily add links from our home page (public domain software area) to
web pages describing the project (use/installation/etc).

If there are individuals out there with items they'd like posted, e-mail
me privately and we'll make the necessary arrangements.
