If some sharp programmer out there can assist please, I am trying
accomplish a file transfer (sending an ascii file) TO the HP3000 host. I
would like to use Zmodem, but I don't know of any utility that does this.
On the other hand, I know that KERMITP.PUBXL.TELESUP supports kermit
protocol. I have been connecting properly to the HP with my terminal
program using a modem, but when I try to send the file to the HP using
KERMITP.PUBXL.TELESUP, I keep getting timed out. It's like the system is
not ready to receive the file. Can someone who has done this successfully
please assist? Oh, one more thing, I know that Reflection connects very
nicely with HP3000's... that won't work for this situation. The client is
connecting from a UNIX box and is writing their own terminal communication
program. We need something that will NOT require custom programming on the
host side (HP3000). A reply to this group will be helpful but a cc: to my
personal e-mail would be much appreciated. Thank you!
