Jim,

  Check out MPEJX99A available on the web at us-external.support.hp.com.
The message is tied to a problem with the new Network Printing routines.
Although nothing is damaged, they do get annoying after a while! This patch
takes care of it.

Regards,
Michael L Gueterman

Subject:  [HP3000-L] MPE/iX 5.5 Upgrade Woes

Hello all!

<SNIP>

problem: We keep getting console messages after every spool file
prints "The last name component of the pathname does not exist in the
directory / HP Directory message 1". Is this a known problem? Is
there a patch to fix it? It's not critical, just annoying.

Thanks for letting me vent, again!
