Ok, I had to check thru my notes....but the comment by someone (sorry don't
recall the name :( ) jogged my memory about that error...
We had that on a LaserJet II and the HP reps ended spending 2 days on it
and had to take the printer back to the shop!!!! First time I have ever seen
that done!!!
If we had not had it under maintenance contract I would have just bought a
new printer!

Thanks all for the quick repsponses on my question regarding the Error 51 on
our LJ II.
We placed a call with a local service rep, but the cost (200) to repair
would be better
spent on a new printer. It turns out to be a laser beam center malfunction.
Whatever!
