MPE will submit their porting efforts back into the official Samba
distribution, so future Samba releases from the official authors will be
readily available for MPE systems.....46_10Jan199720:40:[log in to unmask]

Re: (18 lines)
Michael,

thanks for the fancy trick using PREEXEC and POSTEXEC to
have TELLOP create console messages for connects/disconnects.
Learning tricks like that one is a great benefit of a lively
and public samba-thread on HP3000-L. Keep it going!

Remember that I'm neither a Samba nor a PC guru and
thus depend on learning by following these threads...

:) Lars/iX

By the way, I did *not* use Pascal I/O in Samba/iX ;-)

(but I also suffered from the 254/255 column restriction in
HP Pascal's text-file I/O quite a while ago. Has anybody tried
to work around it by declaring the file other than TEXT ??)
