Jeff,

I was under the impression that the Autoloaders are *not* supported on the
HP3000.  You must be using some third party package for you backups. Right?

You should think about purchasing an HP AutoLoader.
The product number is C1553A.  It will hold 6 Dat tapes,
and will auto-load the next tape.  These units fit in a
standard disk rack.  I was very impressed with these
units, we have purchased 2 and use them in parallel.
I think they run about 3k.
