I would question the life-cycle of Cognos 'QUIZ'.  I've heard rumors
they're leaving their flagship host-based product behind and are pushing
their Client-Server products:

Impromptu/Query Server/Power-Play

anyway.  I wouldn't look for many more upgrades along the tradtional:

Quiz/Quick/QTP/Dictionary

lines.

They're also have trouble with Borland's Interbase (formerly Starbase) and
are 'nudging' (wink-wink) Oracle when they can.

Cognos and Computer Associates are splitting the blanket as we speak, with no
more support by CA for QUIZ :(
