Hi there
We are looking for some beta testers for a new version of the
DataExpress/ODBCLink product. This new release features:

1. The ability to define Image records for use from ODBC applications.
This does not require Image/SQL be installed. This is an extension of the
dictionary technology DataExpress includes that supports KSAM and MPE
files.

2. New functionality in ODBC including the support of Foreign keys, column
priviledges, table priviledges.

3.Roman8-PC/ANSI character translation

4. Improved support for stored procedures (allows multiple results sets).

5. Support for LONG VARBINARY data  (Read Blobs)

6. DataExpress Dataview option support to add views of data and extra
security.

This functionality is available in both our 16 bit and 32 bit ODBC
drivers. Both are included with DataExpress when the ODBCLink option is
ordered.

If you have an application that can test the above AND have time to test
between now and January 6th please drop me a note which describes:

1. What desktop OS and what client software you would test with.
2. What Winsock stack and version you use.
3. What version of ALLBASE/SQL or IMAGE/SQL you are on.
4. What version of MPE you are on.
5. How much time you can put into this task.
