I just upgraded to 5.5, and now I'm faced with converting the many TTYPE/TVFC
environment files we use around here to the new 5.5 network printing setup
file format.

Has anybody already written a tool to do this, that asks for a TTYPE file
as input, automatically reads the associated TVFC file, and outputs a 5.5
setup file containing the printer initialization string? (This would be
easy enough to do myself, but hey, why reinvent the wheel if somebody on
hp3000-l has already been through this....)

PS: It would have been nice if HP could have provided this tool, or even
better if the new network spooler was able to use these old TVFC init strings.
We have *ALOT* of these old style environment files here that we need to
migrate before network printing will be useful to us.
