Isn't this a drastic shift in HP strategic direction going from "What
If?" to "Why For" ?

(Sorry, just finished COBOL <cough> code to get credit card data from a
MagTek wedge reader, fortunately before throwing it across the room, and
I needed a diversion :-) ).
