[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 22 Nov 1996 11:08:31 -0500465_- I did ask this early in my record-breakingly long post {:-| .

I also pointed out that the HPVars are NOT all in one, and then parsed
into their elements. They are elementary, and combined into groups. And
I agreed with David Greer that HPCentury probably wouldn't be used alone
as often as a long year var would be used, so that just giving us an
HPLongYear made more sense than HPCentury. I too think that HPYear
should be left alone. [...]41_22Nov199611:08:[log in to unmask]

Dear Listers,

An additional note. I just uploaded the offending program to
my clients 3000, compiled, and successfully executed WITHOUT CHANGING A
SINGLE LINE OF CODE OR COMPILE OR LINK. What could be
(suddenly) different about linking on my system - same version
of MPE, etc.

Anyone have any ideas, or should I just take this one out behind the
barn and shoot it?

Just sign me "Frustrated in LA (lower alabama)"
