I was involved in an installation of QCIM for a division of my
company (Graver Chemical) which is now a separate company. They are
still using the package, AFAIK. We chose QCIM because we needed a
system that could handle custom process manufacturing with a focus
on quality specifications. Much of G.Chemical's customer base
required detailed specs for their products. In fact, depending on
the quality specs, some lots of the same product were good for one
customer but not another. QCIM was excellent at linking the quality
test results to the inventory system so that it was easy to search
inventory for a lot that would match the customer's requirements.

If you would like more info, feel free to contact me directly.
