But, if HPCCYY = 2001, does that imply the century is 20?  It isn't!
(It's 21)

In other words, it leads to incorrect interpretations of the thousands
and hundreds digits of a 4-digit year.

That's why I prefer HPYYYY ... a simple & obvious 4-digit year.

The "CCYY" always makes me stop and wonder: "what's the CC mean?"...it
just isn't common usage in English (just tested on our office manager,
who confirmed it :)     (She had no idea what CCYY was, but immediately
figured out YYYY.)
