I want to thank everyone who replied either privately or to the
list concerning Predictive and incoming calls by HP. I was
fairly sure that this was not occurring, but needed to be certain.
I've had mixed answers from various HP people over the years
(and maybe at one time they really did!), but they do not appear
to do this today.

I'll be publishing on my web site a security 'check list for the
3000 System Manager' in a couple of weeks. I've been collecting
bits and pieces of things over the years, and have been meaning
to put it into a comprehensive form for a long time. I guess now
is as good as any. If anyone has anything they feel is a good tip
or practice (security related), please email it to me, and I'll include it.
I'll let the HP3000-L list know the URL when I have the first draft
available.

Regards,
Michael L Gueterman
