I am not on MPE 5.5, but the file transfer program on the host (HP)
may need to be upgraded to the latest version.  This should be called
something like PCLINK2.PUB.SYS, and is available at WRQ's ftp server
at ftp.wrq.com/bbsfiles/filexfer.  The latest version there is 3.14.
You can find the version you've got by running the program, with an
info string "version":
RUN PCLINK2.PUB.SYS;INFO="VERSION".

This may not fix it, but it shouldn't hurt.  I guess it's possible
that there is a glitch with MPE 5.5.
