We use DIGIPAGE from the Interex CSL tape. EXCELLENT product. Easy to install.
We use an old 2400b modem on a 3 pin Nailed DTC port and hook it into(via
command files) our home grown JEDI (Job Error Detection and Investigation)
system. It dials my pager and leaves me a number which I have set up to show
JEDI error type, time, Job or session number, HPCIERR number.
I can call in and fix any problems that come up. If I take home a "Showjob"
list, I can usually tell if it is important or whether it can wait till morning.
If you want more info, let me know.
