We use NP92 to drive 3 printers on a moderately loaded 917 with
insufficent memory :-(. We also have NP92 check our printers every 30
seconds. There is an option in NP92 that lets you define the spool files
that it will consider. By limiting NP92 to the 3 network printers and
telling it to ignore deferred spool files (DEV<>LP AND PRI>4 in our
case) we don't notice any preformance problems :-)
