Hello Patrick,

Joe Geiser already mentioned the proper FILE equation to
create an IBM labeled tape. Please notice that this will
only make the tape label use EBCDIC. If you write a text
file to your tape using FCOPY then you might also need to
use the ;EBCDICOUT option to have FCOPY convert the ASCII
data to EBCDIC on-the-fly.
