Hi Gregory,

I did a pretty extensive test of Rumba last year. I *really* hated the idea
of having to use FTP to transfer files. Also, I had quite a few GPF's. I
got so frustrated with the product that I launched it across my office in a
fit of pique! Lastly, I had so many problems with getting ahold of sales
and support people, I wouldn't use the product if it were free.

On the other hand, I really like both Reflection and Minisoft products. The
choice usually comes down to tradeoffs between functionality and price. If
you are doing mucho work with the terminal emulator, you may want to stick
with Reflection. If you are doing consistently the same thing with your
terminal emulator, you may want to go with Minisoft. Minisoft has the great
advantage of being *much* cheaper and they are particularly compelling if
you need lots of copies as they have always been pretty generous in their
site licensing pricing.

Finally, I heard of (and scammed a few free t-shirts from) a new product
called "Kia" at the last HP World show. Cool shirts but the software wasn't
shipping at showtime. They probably are shipping now but I didn't pay close
enough attention to who they were to give you a phone number. I guess I
could dig out the t-shirt :-)

Bill
