You can't use Terminal type 22 for non-HP printers.  Termtype 22 or 26 are
doing some "status request" and non-HP printers can't answer to those.
Even most recent HP printers (Like Laserjet 4 and later models) do NOT
answer to status request.  I'm 100% sure that Laserjet, Laserjet + and
Laserjet II answer.  Laserjet IIP do not.  I'm not sure about Laserjet
IIID.  To use these printers on a HP3000, you need to use a terminal type
18 profile.
