(Please excuse a double posting; I'm having some problem here.)
 
Two matters came up in our HP contract review yesterday, and both are
disturbing.
 
We have been notified that certain HP products are falling off support
during the coming contract year.  Well, that's life.  However, two of
the effects of this are:
 
1.  These products will no longer be delivered on FOS or Subsys tapes.
This means that not only will we not have support, but not even have the
product which we purchased.
 
2.  We have switched all of our manual updates to Laser Rom.  Manuals
for on-line products will no longer appear on quarterly CD updates.  Now
that we have gotten everyone set up with the Laser Rom client software
and gotten them used to on-line documentation, certain products will no
longer be available in this medium.
 
I'd appreciate your reactions and support in having HP:
 
1.  Continue to send all licensed products on upgrade tapes
 
2.  Continue to send manuals for all licensed product on the CD.
