please forgive me, but I really hope that MPE customers will not start
to base their decisions for a system on benchmarks like specint or specfp
or whatever they are called, just to learn the frustrating lesson that
real-world-applications frequently don't care about fancy benchmark slides...
 
If a system manager tells me he runs his system X with N happy users, then
this means much more to me than a benchmark telling me about n MFLOPS/sec.
