Maybe. Try Cognos Powerhouse with the Interbase RDBMS. For our admittedly
large academic administration management s/w, we are looking at 7-10Mb per user
ie worst case for 150 users is 1.5Gb!! Plus the processor power to get through
all that code. An early release of the s/w brought a DEC 8400 with 4 cpu's and
8Gb memory to its knees with a simulated load of 100 users.
All depends on the job mix and the efficiency of the underlying database
engines.
